What is a DSLR?
DSLR stands for Digital Single Lens Reflex. The image comes through the lens and reflects off a mirror into the viewfinder. When you take a photo, the mirror flips up and the sensor captures the image.
How does it differ from an analog SLR?
The design is similar, but the medium is different: a DSLR stores images on a memory card instead of film. It also features live view, autofocus, and internal image processing.
What are its strengths?
Large sensor, interchangeable lenses, manual control, and usually fast autofocus – from portraits to sports.
Who is it suitable for?
For anyone who wants more than a compact camera and wants to get more involved. It is also ideal for ambitious amateur photographers who value quality and flexibility.
Can I record video with it?
Many models record in Full HD, and newer ones also record in 4K. This is more than enough for interviews, videos, or your own productions.
Are old lenses from analog cameras compatible?

Which memory card do I need?
Usually SD, SDHC, or SDXC. Pay attention to the write speed if you are shooting continuous photos or video. The maximum capacity is stated in the manual.
What accessories are worth it?
A sturdy tripod, a spare battery, and a compatible flash. For transport, a padded bag.
How do we assess the condition?
Digital SLR cameras are assigned one of four ratings: Good, Acceptable, Partially Defective, or Defective. Minor scratches on the body or display are also possible with a "Good" rating. Are the battery and charger included?
Usually, yes, unless stated otherwise in the product title. Memory cards are not included.
