Information on the disposal of old batteries
The following notice is intended for those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell them in the form in which they were delivered (end users):
1. Free return of used batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries to ensure proper disposal. You can dispose of them at a municipal collection point or at a local retailer. As a battery distributor, we are also obligated to take back used batteries. However, our obligation to take back is limited to used batteries of the type that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our product range. You can therefore either return used batteries of the aforementioned type to us with sufficient postage or hand them in free of charge at our shipping warehouse at the address listed in the imprint.
2. Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 percent mercury by mass, more than 0.002 percent cadmium by mass, or more than 0.004 percent lead by mass, the chemical name of the pollutant used is located below the wheeled bin symbol – where "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for lead, and "Hg" for mercury.

The Right Film System
Historical pull-out pack film of the Type 108 class is suitable. The Big Shot uses a different historical film technology than SX-70 and 600 cameras. A Type 108 pack film is pulled out after taking the picture; modern integral instant film cassettes are not a direct replacement. Film type, processing, and storage conditions are therefore part of the preparation.
Development and Preparation
The film and, if applicable, the flash technology suitable for the Big Shot must be matched to the historical system. For every film, pay attention to the current manufacturer's specifications regarding temperature, development, and handling of the fresh picture. The finished instant photo is also the physical result of your shot; a digital image file is only created by an additional scan.
