Battery disposal
Information on the disposal of old batteries
The following notice is intended for those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell them in the form in which they were delivered (end users):
1. Free return of used batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries to ensure proper disposal. You can dispose of them at a municipal collection point or at a local retailer. As a battery distributor, we are also obligated to take back used batteries. However, our obligation to take back is limited to used batteries of the type that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our product range. You can therefore either return used batteries of the aforementioned type to us with sufficient postage or hand them in free of charge at our shipping warehouse at the address listed in the imprint.
2. Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 percent mercury by mass, more than 0.002 percent cadmium by mass, or more than 0.004 percent lead by mass, the chemical name of the pollutant used is located below the wheeled bin symbol – where "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for lead, and "Hg" for mercury.

Description
9x12 plate camera with Rodenstock Double Anastigmat Eurynar 13.5cm f/4.5
Condition and limitations
Condition: good used condition.
The body shows age-appropriate signs of wear, such as small scratches, patina, or minor scuffs – in very well-maintained condition for a camera of this age.
The body shows only slight signs of wear, such as fine scratches, patina, or minor scuffs – exactly what you can expect from a well-preserved vintage model.
Single images in large format
This plate camera is designed for single large-format film shots. The lens is labeled Rodenstock Double Anastigmat Eurynar 13.5cm 1:4.5. The lens is labeled Rodenstock Double Anastigmat Eurynar 13.5cm 1:4.5. The large format supports careful, deliberately planned image composition. Each shot is planned individually; instead of a series on a memory card, a single photographic original takes center stage.
Preparing sharpness and exposure
Manual adjustment of distance, aperture, and shutter; the image is created as a single large-format shot. You first choose the perspective and framing, then determine the distance and exposure. With a longer focal length and large format, precise focusing is particularly important. A stable setup makes it easier to maintain the prepared settings until you press the shutter.
Format and suitable cassette
Designed for single shots in 9x12cm plate/sheet film format with a perfectly matching cassette and film backing. The format specification describes the image format. For actual use, the cassette, fold, backing size, and film carrier must fit the specific camera. Identical image dimensions do not automatically mean identical mechanical connections. Therefore, before purchasing film, check the back, holder, and film backing as a complete system.
Loading, exposing, and developing film
Sheet film is processed individually and must be protected from accidental light according to its sensitivity. Loading depends on the cassette and material. Preparation also includes appropriate light metering and a development process specifically for this format. You can then view, enlarge, or digitize the image depending on the material.
Choose the focal length and use consciously
The focal length indicated on the lens belongs to this image format. It cannot be directly compared to a lens of the same length for 35mm film in terms of angle of view. The process is suitable for subjects where you want to allow time for location, sharpness, and exposure. The specific fit of the back and cassette is more important than the brand name alone.
