Information on the disposal of old batteries
The following notice is intended for those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell them in the form in which they were delivered (end users):
1. Free return of used batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries to ensure proper disposal. You can dispose of them at a municipal collection point or at a local retailer. As a battery distributor, we are also obligated to take back used batteries. However, our obligation to take back is limited to used batteries of the type that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our product range. You can therefore either return used batteries of the aforementioned type to us with sufficient postage or hand them in free of charge at our shipping warehouse at the address listed in the imprint.
2. Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 percent mercury by mass, more than 0.002 percent cadmium by mass, or more than 0.004 percent lead by mass, the chemical name of the pollutant used is located below the wheeled bin symbol – where "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for lead, and "Hg" for mercury.

Model and Requirements
The Canon T70 is an analog SLR camera for 35mm film. It combines the manual-focus Canon FD system with motorized film transport. After loading according to the markings, the built-in motor takes over the further advancement and later rewinding of the film. This preserves the classic view through the reflex viewfinder, while the need to advance the film manually with a lever is eliminated.
The mount is Canon FD. FD and New FD must not be confused with the later EOS systems EF, EF-S, or RF; their lenses do not fit directly. For shooting, you need a lens compatible with the system and 35mm film. A kit lens shown in the historical manufacturer's catalog, for example, is therefore not automatically part of this offer.
The T70 uses two suitable 1.5V AA batteries. Power is required for the electronics and motor. The model is therefore not a purely mechanical camera for completely battery-free shooting.
